70 years of hearing innovation
For the 70th birthday of Swiss hearing aid-specialist company Sonova and its brand Phonak, evoq developed a cross-media communication campaign. The motto we came up with was ‘Breaking barriers’. This saw Sonova position itself as an innovative employer with employees being given the opportunity to express themselves via the Hashtag #wearesonova. Using social media as a global platform, they can express how they use their dedication and innovative spirit to contribute to making Sonova’s vision a reality. Sonova uses the anniversary microsite conceived by evoq as part of the campaign to show mini-films of their employees.
The Phonak campaign was directed at business partners and end consumers. In these, Phonak thanks these people for their trust and loyalty over the years. Using the online card creator developed by evoq labs, Phonak invites its site visitors to say “thank you” to a special person in their life with a self-designed digital card. This tool appears on the ‘Phonak’ anniversary microsite designed and implemented by evoq labs.
In order to live up to the challenge of this campaign – i.e. diverse requirements in the communication of Sonova as an umbrella brand and Phonak as a product brand – we drafted two different key visuals for the anniversary presence. These are used in all online and offline media.
