Lemonbeat is the universal language developed by RWE for the IoT. A future technology that is enabling the connection of all “smart things” for the first time ever and overcoming the barriers that currently exist between various systems.
The objective for this future technology was to develop a branding that corresponded to the magnitude of the idea, made it palpable on an emotional level, demonstrated the possibilities of Lemonbeat and encouraged people to dive into this new world. The technical requirements were high too: The logo should also work as a tiny icon on a smartphone just as with an embedded brand. It must be animation-capable and work as an icon.
The end result was a logo that visualised the networking concept both simply and effectively: Three points, one RF field.
This network can connect with others and therefore expand in all directions: The logo animation explains the product benefits again in depth and also serves as a secondary brand element.
The slogan “Connected” captures the essence of Lemonbeat in a nutshell.

A logo that demonstrates the idea behind it: Connection. A short and succinct slogan. An exciting secondary brand element. A website, image film and product brochure explain the complex product clearly and emotively. A website run with parallax scrolling, an image film, a product brochure and an embedded brand signet for products that use Lemonbeat are the first applications, with more to come.
