CHEESE À LA MAURICE
New packaging for cheese dairy in central Switzerland
Lustenberger 1862 is a Swiss hard cheese, synonymous with the traditional art of cheese-making. Produced traditionally using Maurice Lustenberger’s old family recipe, the wheels mature into a distinctively flavoursome cheese in the family cellar under the careful eye of the Maîtres Affineurs for 180 days – as original and authentic as Switzerland itself.
Following a brand audit (brand analysis), Lustenberger&Dürst commissioned a relaunch of the cheese brand. The brand story was carefully rewritten and summarised with the slogan ‘as original and authentic as 1862’. The design was made up of matching graphic elements, whereby special consideration was given to shelf presence as well as a high-quality look and feel.
As well as packaging, the new design was also adapted to various other media such as the website, in product flyers, trade fairs etc.
