Seamless customer experience with the interactive web map of the Swiss Travel System App
Tourists from all over the world use the Swiss Travel System app when travelling the country by public transport. At the heart of the travel app are SBB's interactive Trafimage maps, which were developed together with our Trafimage partner geOps. The Swiss Travel System public transport app provides exciting destinations and excursion tips, and helps with travel planning and navigation on the move.
Focus on public transport
As with all Trafimage maps, the focus of the interactive STS map is on the Swiss public transport network - in this case specifically on the panorama routes (Grand Train Tour of Switzerland). A second focus is on the so-called POIs (Points of Interest), which show users excursion tips such as sights or museums at the current location or at the desired destination. In addition, the map shows which rail routes, buses, mountain railways and ships are included in the combined tickets offered by STS, such as the Swiss Travel Pass, and can therefore be used by customers.
Seamless customer experience
The interactive station maps co-developed by evoq are also integrated into the app, so that people can find their way around the most important transfer points and make good use of the transfer time at the station - be it with the morning croissant or a souvenir for their loved ones at home. This holistic availability of travel tips and orientation aids means that every app user is provided with all the information they need from the beginning to the end of their journey.
