Site plans for the city of Zurich's transport services
Nothing is more annoying than missing your connection. Uncomplicated transitions between lines, means of transport and stops are therefore extremely important for public transport users. This is especially important at the major urban transport hubs, such as Bellevue, Central or Bucheggplatz.
evoq has created detailed site maps for over 30 bus stops. This is because it is not easy to find your way around at all stops: when changing buses, the bus stop may not be in sight, or you may have to walk a block to a neighbouring stop to find your connection.
Overview of transport hubs
The VBZ stop plans therefore focus less on the individual bus stop and much more on the multifunctional transport hubs. They can also contain several adjacent stops. The departure station of the night buses are also shown.
3D plans make urban context comprehensible
The Bellevue traffic hubs are shown in a particularly striking way. An innovative three-dimensional representation depicts the surrounding buildings and the familiar landmarks, which makes it much easier to grasp the spatial situation and find one's way around the urban context. The large-format posters thus complement the numerous mobile public transport apps and the regular VBZ information at the stops. The graphics were created using 3D and GIS data from Swisstopo. The proven representation from the SBB Trafimage world serves as the design basis.
