A new look for the Association of Zurich Trading Firms
For its 100th anniversary, the Zürcher Handelsfirmen Association unveils a new name that better aligns with its role as a dedicated representative of employers' interests. This transformation extends beyond just the name – it encompasses a revamped corporate design. The refreshed, modern brand identity serves to underscore the professionalism and youthful vitality of the employers' association. This evolution is exemplified through the introduction of a new, service-focused website, among other enhancements.
A name that does justice to the association
With its more than 2,200 members, the Zürcher Handelsfirmen Association is one of the largest regional employers' associations in Switzerland and has been working for the interests of employers in all sectors since its foundation. The new name "Arbeitgeber Zürich VZH" (Employers Zurich VZH) sums up this mission as well as its openness and reflects the association's self-image: an accomplished, professional service provider that is in tune with the times, committed to the attractiveness of the Zurich economic region and its employers.
Equipped for the future with a contemporary image
The logo will be adapted to the new association name and carefully modernised. It is characterised by a simple clarity and uses the existing familiarity. In combination with fresh colour accents, bold typography as well as a concise secondary design element - the bracket - and a modern, urban visual language, the new appearance underlines the association's core mission: to provide an optimal framework for employers, open and with room for further development. In addition to the business stationery, layout templates of different publications are created for the association's communication.
A functional service portal
The completely relaunched website offers - in addition to a better overview and user guidance - a multitude of functionalities for any service offers and communication measures. In the course of the relaunch, various administrative processes will also be digitally mapped. These include a member profile with a link to the association's CRM and a comprehensive event module with a booking function and automated participant management. In addition, members have access to password-protected work aids, leaflets, sample templates and the monthly newsletters on the platform.
The service portal, which is optimised for different output devices, not only offers members and interested parties a direct and uncomplicated user experience, but also enables the office to manage the site easily and user-friendly in the background.
The transfer of central processes to the website benefits members and the office alike.
