Unadulterated and genuine: the Lustenberger 1862 brand
The brand project for Lustenberger&Dürst began with a comprehensive brand audit. An independent brand story was developed in a positioning process - because Lustenberger 1862 stands for the original art of cheese-making. This idea is also reflected in the claim "original and genuine like 1862".
Lustenberger 1862 is made according to an old family recipe by company founder Maurice Lustenberger. The loaves mature under the loving supervision of the Maîtres Affineurs for 180 days in the family cellar to become an unmistakably spicy cheese.
Packaging with tradition and originality
With its newly developed packaging design, Lustenberger sets itself apart from other products without aiming too much at the premium segment. The design reflects the tradition of Lustenberger&Dürst, whose founder Maurice Lustenberger is the name sponsor of the new top cheese product. Matching graphic elements ensure the brand's presence on the shelf as well as a high-quality look. In addition to the packaging, the new design was also adapted for use in various other media such as the website, product flyers, trade fairs, etc.
